I hate to say it but I love it. I grew up in the F&F era and my god, this captures it so well. Everyone has a GTR, or a stock Cayman or even an old Benz, why not just make it yours. Enjoy some diversity, you may love punk rock I love EDM, there’s no hate to be needed just love.

Actually, I’d say the old Benz’s are perfect candidate for these kinds of things. Fairly common, not worth a ton of money, not really anything amazing regards to performance, but in the end still pretty good looking.

There’s a beauty with slammed, customized, body kitted show cars just like there’s a beauty within a clean, stock car. Hell, I personally want a seam welded Toyota Century on bags and skid plates. Why fucking not?

I could do without the music for that video (its the wrong kind, put some Race Wars in there!) but theres nothing really wrong with most of them. They went to legit aftermarket companies, panels & parts put on accurately & some got the DTM treatment and paint schemes which is what oppo is supposed to do. Especially the Audi (cmon those Germans always have some version of a camo paint scheme!).

it was like 80 oppo car/20 show car which is a ratio I can live with.

It was mostly the stance on performance cars that I didn’t like. And if the lowered cars were on bags I’m okay with them too, I just don’t have much hope with some of the stuff I’ve seen out there

The show cars, I can agree are kind of out of control. If youre negative cambering yourself to the Nth degree or trying to have a barbecue pit fold out of your car but your car isn’t large enough anyway then yeah car culture may be doomed. :P

I guess its location because I don’t see too much of the crazy stuff at the car shows I go to.
